Pablo Marcet is Stanford and Harvard educated. He will be speaking on Northern Orion Resources Inc. (NNO-TSX, NTO-AMEX). Northern Orion is a low-cost copper and gold producer with a 12.5% interest in the Bajo de la Alumbrera mine in northwestern Argentina . Alumbrera gives Northern Orion an estimated annual cash flow of US$45 million. Adjacent to Alumbrera, the company is also developing its wholly owned Agua Rica copper/gold deposit, which contains more than 10 million ounces of gold and 18 billion pounds of copper. Agua Rica has similar metallurgy to the Alumbrera mine, located only 34 km away. More than US$50 million has been spent on Agua Rica to date.

In addition to this, starting from 1990 to November 2003 Marcelo Mindlin acted as Vice Chairman of IRSA Inversiones y Representaciones S.A., an Argentine real estate company listed on the New York Stock Exchange that has developed an expansive strategy in Latin America through Brazil Realty in Brazil, and Alto Palermo, in Argentina. He also acted as the Vice Chairman of Alto Palermo, a real estate company that specializes in shopping centers, and of Cresud, a pure agricultural company; both companies are listed on Nasdaq. Mr. Mindlin served as the CFO of this Group of companies. The major challenges included the listing of the three Companies on Wall Street and providing funding for the extraordinary growth of the Group, through more than 60 transactions exceeding U$ 3.2 billion, including equity and bond issues and M&A deals. In November 2003 Marcelo Mindlin resigned from the IRSA Group to focus his efforts in Dolphin Fund Management, he is currently the owner and Chairman this leading portfolio management firm in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
